GG Tells OCEANA No-Go On Referendum Enquiry

After OCEANA and The Coalition to Save Our Natural Heritage had their referendum application rejected last week, OCEANA wrote to the Governor General asking him for an explanation of how eight thousand signatures could be rejected.

Well, the GG has written back and the Head Of State says he can't help them. His letter says the law gives him no power to order such an enquiry and the proper course of action would be to take it up with the Minister responsible for elections and boundaries or the Prime Minister.
