Earlier in the news we told you about the local citrus industry, and how it stands to benefit from a major downtown in the citrus harvest in Florida - where the disease called huanglongbing has decimated crops. But, that same disease has also been in Belize since 2009, and in March, Courtney Weatherburne travelled south to the citrus belt to find out how it's being managed:...

There is about 40 - 45,000 acres of land under production for citrus in Belize. 80% is set aside for oranges and 20% is for grapefruit.
