Mon, March 13, 2017
2 weeks ago, we told you about the stabbing death of 54-year-old San Roman Villager Marcelino Chan. Police say that his cousin, 25 year-old Mario Aguirre was the attacker, and tonight he's been charged with murder.

THE incident allegedly happened on Saturday, February 25, at Aguirre's home. Police say that there was a domestic dispute at around 8:30 that night, between Aguirre and his wife. Chan tried to part the fight, and was attempting to walk away. That's allegedly when Aguirre jumped him and stabbed him multiple times. One of those stabs pierced his chest, and he died from the attack.

Police eventually located Aguirre, and he will now be arraigned as soon as possible, after which, he will be remanded to the Belize Central Prison.
