| Tourist Drowns In Placencia |

A tourist apparently drowned yesterday evening in Placencia. 53 year old Steven Gail Wine - a tourist from Colorado - was socializing with his wife and other family members at Barefoot Bar in Placencia village. At 6:30 he left the group, and went for a dip in the sea. A few minutes later, his common law wife Annie Berrardi went to look for him and found him motionless in the sea in front of Tipsy Tuna Restaurant and bar. A passerby tried to revive him with CPR, and a Doctor arrived and tried to the the same, but he was unresponsive. Police stress that there were no signs of physical violence on the body and foul play is not suspected. A postmortem will be conducted tomorrow.
