Today the best young footballers in the country went head to head in the National Primary School Championships. The top boys' and girls' teams from each district gathered in Belize City to decide who is the best in the nation. We spoke to the Director of the National Sports Council and the CEO of the Ministry of Sports about the importance of sports in society and the development of our youngest and brightest...

In the end, Orange Walk Girls & Boys won the day. Progresso girls edged out Independence one to nil. And for the boys, St. Michaels RC from San Felipe village in the Orange Walk District also beat Independence - but this one went to a penalty kick shootout.



Romain Romances Belizean Audiences

Jamaican Reggae Superstar Romain Virgo is back in Belize for his 8th visit, and this time he's here to perform for the Flavaz Entertaiment's 8th Anniversary.

He's set to headline a concert featuring an A-list of Belizean female artists. Virgo is known for the romance in his love songs, and tomorrow night at the ITVET compound, he intends to serenade his Belizean fans.
