Eldon Out Of Jail On Bail
Fri, April 28, 2017
Earlier this month we told you about the alleged rape of a 17-year-old American tourist by 39 year old Eldon Williams in San Pedro. According to reports, Williams, who was a family friend, spent the day with the teenager and her mother. They allowed Williams to stay overnight with them in their downtown hotel. At around midnight Williams snuck into the living room where the victim was sleeping on the couch and allegedly raped her. He was apprehended by a security guard as he was allegedly attempting to flee.

After 10 days on remand, Williams was offered a bail of $10,000 today by Justice Adolph Lucas. Williams was granted bail on the condition that he attends San Pedro Magistrate's Court on June 21 and on any other day the magistrate orders him to reappear; that he reports to San Pedro Police Station every Friday, commencing Friday, May 5, until the matter has concluded; and that he does not interfere with any of the prosecution witnesses, particularly the complainant - who we should not lives in California. Williams was represented by attorney Dickie Bradley.
