| Missing Teen’s Bike Found, But No Body |

The search for 17 year old Erwin Rodriguez has intensified in the last week, and, today, searchers found a bicycle which his sister has identified as his. He was last seen on that bicycle on August 24th. It was found in the so called "dike" area - which are the sewage ponds and canals - between Jane Usher Boulevard and Faber's Road. Searchers have been using dories and kayaks.
The community based search team was accompanied by police in all day search which did not turn up other clues.
His family believes that he was killed and thrown in the dike- and are hoping to find his remains. His slippers had also been found in that general area some time ago.
Erwin's brother was killed four years earlier.
