On Friday evening officers from the ACT operation team conducted a search in the Conch Shell Bay area that resulted in the discovery of 214.5 grams of cannabis along with a 38 Derringer firearm and two .38 rounds of ammunition. On Saturday they conducted another search on an abandoned lot on Flamboyant Street and found seven rounds of 7.62 ammunition.
This afternoon the ACT officers did another search of the Conch Shell Bay area and found one 9mm Luger brand firearm along with a magazine containing ten 9mm rounds of ammunition tucked away near the riverside tucked away in a shirt.
