Policeman Dies 8 Days After Accident
Mon, January 15, 2018
Police officer Enid Tillett was knocked down on January 6th. The constable was on a patrol bike when 24 year old Jesus Enrique Munoz knocked him down in a Ford Escape. Well, Tillett succumbed to his injuries on Sunday morning - eight days after the accident. As a consequence, today, Munoz's charge was upgraded to Manslaughter by Negligence and Causing Death by Careless Conduct. He was arraigned and got bail of $5,000 dollars and one surety of the same amount.

He had already been charged for "Drove motor vehicle without due care and attention, Failed to give way when changing direction, Negligent Grievous Harm and Used Motor Vehicle without third party risk insurance."

All this means police believe he had the fault - by not giving way - and, additionally, his vehicle didn't have insurance.
