| Earlier this week, you heard the PM list his reasons for giving the police portfolio to Michel Chebat. He explained that Espat no longer wanted the job, despite expressing that he was willing to take on the role in a permanent position.
Today we asked Minister Espat about this and he said he was simply assisting the PM at the time.
Reporter
"The prime minister says that you informed him you would prefer to keep MIDH only and that's why he appointed Chebat as Minister of National Security. Is this true?"

"That is history I am dealing with the future, prime minister has made a decision we respect that decision and I will work hard on what I have been given."
"I followed a request I want you to come and help me for three months to do a certain Job and I did it and his decision was to do something that he believes is for the betterment of the country and I respect that so it is not going back and forth it is just being a team player which I have proven."
