NEAB Is On The Zion Train To Jerusalem
posted (January 4, 2018)
The National Evangelical Association of Belize has sent out its first press release for the new year, and its tackling 2 very weighty and controversial topics.

As we told you, the unofficial murder count is tied with 2012, for the most murderous year in Belize's history, with 145 murders.

Their release says, quote, "As our murder rate for 2017 has tied the 2012 highest ever record, we urge all Belizeans to live vigilant, sober lives guarding our children and families and let us cry out for God to heal our nation." End quote.

They've also taken a swipe at Government of Belize for refusing to support US President Donald Trump in recognizing Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel.

We told you about the UN Vote that Belize and 127 other countries supported to pass a resolution condemning President Trump's recognition of the Holy City as belonging to Israel.

Well, in their release the NEAB says, quote, "We…express our disappointment with the decision of Government and the Opposition in supporting the UN Resolution to condemn the recognition of Jerusalem as the Capitol of Israel, contradicting 3000+ years of recorded history. We stand with Israel, in addition to recognizing the need for amicable & respectful solutions for regional disputes. We will be reaching out to Israel to convey our support."

In this, NEAB is joined by Guatemala which is following the US and moving its embassy to Jerusalem, and is now offering support to other countries who want to do so. Jerusalem is the nexus of three of the world's oldest religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. For Christians it is the site of the crucifixion and burial of Jesus; for Muslims it is the place where the prophet Mohammed is said to have ascended to heaven, and for Jews, it is their holiest place, as the location where David, Solomon and Herod built their temples.
