Cayo West Area Representative Erwin Contreras got some bad PR recently when
the Village of Succotz in his constituency was without water for two weeks.
We couldn’t reach him then, but he’s back in the news tonight, handing
over 7 wooden houses to residents of Arenal Village.
They were built with funds from the Ministry of Housing, not the Venezuelan
money. Where is that, and when will it appear? Well according to Housing Minister
Michael Finnegan, those funds, should be disbursed on a constituency basis by
next week. Each constituency will get about $600,000.
