The Black Orchid Lounge in Burrell Boom was burglarized to the tuned of thirty-three
thousand dollars on October 21st.and now police say they have one of the men
who did it, and he is a teenager.
19 year old Lane Grinage was charged with burglary when he appeared in the
#2 Magistrate’s Court today. He pleaded not guilty and was offered and
met bail of six thousand dollars. Another man, 28 year old Alvin Flowers was
charged jointly with Grinage, but he is still at large.
Douglas Thompson, the owner of Black Orchid reported that the items stolen
between October 20th and 21st. included twenty five thousand dollars worth of
jewellery.
