Police are also reporting a wild shooting on Friday night where 5 people were
injured – and police say that includes an 8 year old. At 11:00 on Friday
night, 23 year old Tonly Gamboa, 40 year old Vanzie Lamb, 29 year old Lyn McKenzie,
29 year old Geneive Coleman and 8 year old Mark Avilez were at the entrance
at the end of Water Lane. A shooter came from Baghdad Street and fired several
shots at them.
Gamboa was shot to the right hand, Lamb to the left side of the back. McKenzie
was hit in the toe and back, Avilez received a graze his head and Coleman received
a wound to the left side of the body. Gamboa and Coleman were treated and released
while the others were admitted in stable condition.
