Alwin Gonzalez: Charged For Heroin, Weed, Crack
posted (May 25, 2010)
On Friday we told you about 30 year Alwin Gonzalez who was wanted in connection with a bust made at a home on K Street in Kings Park. His common law wife was charged for that offence and police were looking for him. Well they found him on Saturday at another home - also in King's Park with Tifarra Bradley. That home is on Guadalupe street which police searched on Saturday at around noon where they found (35) 9mm live rounds, 359 grams cannabis, 6.1 grams heroine, 27.4 grams crack cocaine, (1) metal pipe used for smoking drugs and $10,500.00 BZ in cash. They have been charged for 3 counts of Drug Trafficking and Kept Ammunition without gun license.

But at their arraignment today it was another story as they were taken to court, but not arraigned because their attorneys Dickie Bradley and Nigel Ebanks asked Magistrate Sharon Frazer to stand the matter down until tomorrow. Bradley said that they have applied to the Supreme Court for bail and they are in possession of a signed affidavit from the person who left the ammunition at the apartment where the two were caught. Magistrate Fraser agreed to stand down the arraignment until tomorrow. In the interim they are in detention at the Queen Street police station. For them to get bail from the Supreme Court the DPP would have to waive the seven day requirement and a judge would have to hear the application.
