18 year old Devon Bailey one of 5 persons charged with keeping a firearm without a gun license pleaded guilty to the charge when he appeared today in the magistrate's court.
The reason he pleaded guilty is because his entire family was arrested when police searched his home at #10 Raccoon street. They searched a speakerbox in one of the rooms and found a pistol stowed inside. All 5 persons inside the house were charged including his 51 year old mother, his 20 year old brother, his 25 year old sister and a 16 year old minor.
Chief magistrate Margaret Mackenzie gave him the mandatory two year sentence.
