Nineteen year old Emmerson Eagan got off a murder charge yesterday, but by this afternoon, he had been charged again! Eagan was charged with the murder of 36 year old Dennis Nembhard, who was shot and killed on the night of June 1st, 2009. The charge was struck out yesterday because of want of prosecution. But as soon as Eagan was released he was re-arrested and charged. Eagan is to return to court on August 3rd. According to reports, the shooting of Nembhard was preceded by an altercation between Nembhard's 12 year old nephew and another 12 year old. Reports are that when Nembhard went to inquire about the altercation he was pursued by his assailant who shot him in his back in front of a gold color van parked near an alley between Oleander Street and Flamboyant Street.
