On Tuesday we told you about the shooting on Berries Street over a domestic dispute.
25 year old Leon Yorke was shot after his sister was involved in an argument with the current girlfriend of her ex, who is Evan Neal. That's when Evan Neal allegedly showed up at Yorke's house with a gun - pulled up on his verandah and pulled the trigger. Yorke was hit to the arm and his brother Kareem Yorke was grazed with the same bullet.
Well today police have charged Twenty seven year old Evan Neal, who resides on the corner of Moya and Nutmeg Street, with the attempted murder of his brother-in-law Leon Yorke, when he appeared in court today.
Neal was also charged with wounding and use of deadly means of harm presumably for grazing Kareem Yorke.
There was no plea taken and no bail offered due to the nature of offences. He was remanded into custody until August 20th.
Yorke's injury was classified as wounding and he was released form the hospital....
