Police have caught a Cayo bar owner and charged her for human trafficking. An 18 year old Belizean female reported that between March and May 2010 she was working as an unpaid waitress for NARCISA ORELLANA, a Businesswoman of Santa Elena Town. She said that ORELLANA forced her to work and have sex with male clients against her will.
ORELLANA was formally arrested and charged for two counts of Trafficking in Person.
The bar is Sierra Friends in the Bradley's Bank area of Santa Elena. This is the second time in the last few months that the owner of this bar has been charged.
