Expressive Arts Camp Closes

For the past few weeks, The Ministry Of Education has been hosting a summer camp on expressive arts, from drama to art. The summer camp, which hosted 200 primary school students concluded today with a grand showcase and a certificate ceremony. 7 news was there.

"How does it feel being a part of something like this that is helping children and keeping them off the streets?"

"To be honest it's been something I've been doing for years. Because prior to this I was a teacher and then now I am doing this. Actually my hobbies have become my drama because from ever since my hobbie has been the arts, now it's actually my job. This is what gives people in the educational field the satisfaction because you don't earn a lot of money through education but the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping children do something positive."

"At school yes we do teach expressive arts but it just helps to learn faster who they are and as well build their self confidents and motivates them."

"Yes I do, drama is life, a part of my life and it's something I love it runs through my veins."

"I learn how to use thing that people throw away instead of throwing away it, you can use it in a good way."

"Like making picture frames and making glass out of bottles and so on."
