Robbed and Stabbed A Disabled Man

He stabbed and robbed a disabled man and Twenty four year old Andre Cadle was charged with robbery and wounding when he appeared today in the #8 Magistrate's Court.

Cadle pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The complainant, Shedrock Slusher, wanted to have the charges withdrawn but Magistrate Emmerson Banner didn't allow him to so because he didn't have any identification of who he said he was.

Cadle was offered a bail of $6,000 and his case was adjourned until October 21.

The incident occurred around 2 p.m on Monday, September 13.

Slusher, who uses a walking stick and walks with a limp, reported to the police that he was in front of a residence at 111 Pinks Alley when he was approached by a young man who put a knife to his throat then stabbed him to the left lower side of his back.

Sluser said he fell to the ground, hit his head and lost consciousness.

He said when he regained consciousness he discovered that several items were stolen from him. The items included $72.00, his wrist watch, a sapphire stone chain and a pound of tobacco leaves.
