Last night we told you about the outrageous, devilish pair of sexual assaults on children that Michael Crazy Arnold was accused of in Ladyville. Those allegedly happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Well, he is accused of one more beastly sexual assault - and this time it wasn't aggravated assault of an indecent nature, he is accused of raping(!) a Belize City woman - and it happened right before he went on the alleged spree of assaults in Ladyville.
It occurred in the Belize City apartments where Arnold lives. On Saturday night, a 29 year old female of who lives in an apartment in the Collet Area - we won't say the street name to protect her identity - was going to use the bathroom when she passed Arnold's room. She says he tried to talk to her and when she ignored him, she claims he pulled a gun, put it to her head and ordered her to have sex with him. Fearing for her life, she complied.
Police didn't have to look too hard for Arnold, because he was remanded to prison yesterday for the two Ladyville aggravated assaults of an indecent nature.
He is now charged for rape, which is a more serious offence so no plea was taken. The prosecution objected to bail because of the other similar charges brought against him. He was remanded until October 25th.
There is another case of rape to report in the city where a 15 year old - also living in the Collett area went to police accompanied by her mother and reported that in June of this year she was at home with her 18 month old old sister when Ricardo Castillo, a man known to her as a family friend allegedly locked the front door of the house and hauled her into her mother's room where he allegedly raped her. Police are looking for Castillo.
