Man Arrested For Broad Daylight Shooting

One week ago, we told you about a broad daylight shooting on Faber's Road when two men were hit. Well now, police have made an arrest.

Twenty one year old Matthew Moore who allegedly did the shooting, was charged with 2 counts of attempted murder when he appeared today in Magistrate's Court.

Moore was also charged with 2 counts of wounding and 2 counts of use of deadly means of harm. Senior Magistrate Sharon Fraser remanded Moore into custody until December second.

It happened around 10:20am on Thursday October 14th. Two men 24 year old Keith Middleton and 27 year old Oscar Vidas, were at the corner of Fabers Road and Central American Boulevard when they were approached by a man who fired several shots at them. Middleton was shot twice in his right leg and once in his left leg. Vidas was shot in his upper left leg. Both Middleton and Vidas were admitted to ward at the Karl Huesner memorial Hospital.
