Turning now to storm relief donations…Last week we told you that Benny's homecenter had donated fifty thousand dollars - well that was matched by Scotiabank - and today that highwater mark was trebled by The Belize National Energy Trust. The organization which has been much in the news recently due to all the infighting - got past its difficulties - at least for the time being - and donated $150,000 to NEMO and$20,000 to the Ministry Of Education.
Substantial Donations are also coming from the government of Venezuela and the US Government.
