Elodio Aragon - Author
"I've written the book mostly because i felt that there was i need for me to do something to contribute especially to the young people of this country and i felt that by writing essays that dealt with relevant situations in our present life that young people will be able to read it and look at it as a beacon that they can follow I'm not saying that's the one way to go because that's my opinion, at least i am offering an opinion that could probably help some people in this life. I look at situation like drugs and i think that it is important to talk to young people about drugs, i look at politics the situation with politics in the country i talk about marriage cause it is so important that people get married, sometimes they not even know in what they get into and then six months after that they are looking to brake up. Marriage is so important but yet we never take time to study what is marriage, if you want to be a doctor a scientist or whatever you got to take so many years to study it. Marriage is something you enter into lifetime but we just step into it. I'm saying that for example we must be careful how to get into a marriage, most of the time because of emotions. We say we are in love, but love doesn't pay bills it doesn't build homes it doesn't take care of the babies and the quarrels that married people have to confront. It doesn't help them to take care of that so I'm saying that marriage is a sacred thing but you just don't step into it and i gave advises why not and how you should go about finding the right partner's also talk about sex, i speak about certain things in our society like, we need to care for the sick for the handicap people the poor people and all of those things, so that's what I mean by relevant things."

Copies of the book will be available soon - at certain bookstores around the country. The proceeds from today's sale will go towards the Orange Walk Town Council's Hurricane Relief Funds.
