An early morning blaze has left a family of 6 in a bad way tonight. The fired started sometime after one this morning at a wooden home on Barracat Street. "Between 1 and 2 am this morning my daughter call me from work telling me that the house is on fire, shortly afterwards I came home and when I came everything was burnt to the ground. The firemen and everybody was here and to my understanding so far I do not know what cause the fire."

Monica Bodden
"What are some of the items that were in the house?"

Home owner
"Household items; stove, refridge, washing machine, beds, appliances and dish wares."

Monica Bodden
"Was the house insured or the items?"

Home owner
"Nothing was insured."

Monica Bodden
"You have no idea what could have started the fire?"

Home owner
"None at all because usually we left the light on due to the animals that we have in there and that's about it."

According to the family, fire officials have not yet been able to determine the cause of what may have started the early morning blaze - due to the fact that the investigating officer left the City this morning.
