A traffic ACCIDENT in the Orange Walk District left a child dead and one man injured. On Friday Police visited Cuatro Leguas Blue Creek Village where they saw a motorcycle without license plate on the left hand side of the road. Initial investigations revealed that shortly before twelve midday on Friday, Henry Mortins a laborer of that village was riding a motorcycle on Edental Street in north-bound direction and upon reaching in front of Edental water system he knocked down six year old Abram Derkens of Tres Leguas Blue Creek. Both Mortins and Derkens sustained head and body injuries and were transported to the Northern Regional Hospital but the six year old Derekens was pronounced dead on arrival.
