He was questioned - but never charged - in connection with the murder of his father Bing Chang Zhao - but now twenty two year old Chinese shopkeeper Guany Chao Zhao, has other legal worries.
He is accused of spitting on a female customer on Friday March 25, and was charged with common assault when he appeared yesterday in the Magistrate's Court. Zhao pleaded not guilty to the charge. Magistrate Aretha Ford offered him a bail of two hundred dollars which he met.
The complainant reported to the police that while she was in Zhao's shop, located at 76 Vernon Street, when he spat on her.
That shop Ming Ming shop is the same place where his father was killed eights weeks ago.
