Armed gunmen shot a salesman in Orange Walk Town today, but sharp police work led to quick apprehension of the suspects.
It happened on the Belize Corozal road at the New Hung Fua Supermarket when two robbers appeared and shot salesman Adar Awe in the leg.
Police responded and apprehended five persons nearby. The responding officers shot one of them in the right foot and he was taken to the hospital.
