Last night we told you about the accident on the northern highway which claimed the life of a 28 year old woman and left her infant daughter in critical condition.
Tonight, the sad news is that the four-month-old child did not hang on; she died yesterday evening at 5:20 pm.
As we told you, the infant, Xy Li Jiang and her mother, Ning Jiang Cuiyo were flung from their Toyota Prado when the vehicle flipped four times between miles 16 and 17. The SUV was heading towards Belize City when, it is believed, the ball joint broke and the driver lost control.
The driver and father of the child, Xin Yu Jiang, remains in a serious but stable condition at the KHMH. He was not flung from the vehicle and received head and body injuries.
