posted (November 8, 2011)
And a member of another international gang was charged in court as well. Yesterday we told you about the arrest of three MS-13 affiliated persons who lived right in front of the Raccoon Street Police station.

Today, one of them, 26 year old Jose Carlos Reyes - who is a self-professed member of the MS-13 - pleaded guilty to a charge of professing to belong to a criminal gang when he appeared in the #1 Magistrate's Court.

Chief Magistrate Anne Marie Smith fined him $500.00 - which is the minimum penalty - and ordered him to pay forthwith or in default serve six months in prison.

Reyes was unable to pay, so he was taken to prison. Reyes lifted his shirt in court and showed a tattoo on his chest with the MS-13 gang insignia.
