56 year old Mark Anthony Ramirez reported to police that he along with his family left their home for about an hour and when they returned they noticed that their back door was opened.

While entering the house, 3 masked men held Ramirez, his wife and their three year old son hostage, tied up for almost 3 hours before the police were alerted.

LOVE FM reports that When the police arrived at the home of Ramirez, it resulted in a shoot out between officers and the two men -who managed to escape from police.
