And coming on the heels of the Council's efforts is the Police Department which has announced that it is embarking on the Quality of Life Campaign - which will mean a major change of life, or lifestyle for some Belizeans.
The advisory issued yesterday says that Public drinking, loitering, littering, riding up-stop, double riding and other such offenses are against the law, and after warnings, fines will be issued to all offenders.
The police department is asking the cooperation of all citizens to ensure the campaign's success.
The Quality of Life Campaign will be effected immediately.
After things sliding so far for so long in so many directions, we'll see how it goes...
