Western Drugs Up In Smoke

Yesterday, the officials at the San Ignacio Police Station sent a large quantity of drugs up in smoke in the presence of a Magistrate. It is part of the Department's ongoing plan to ensure that the illegal substances, which is already accounted for, and already dealt with by the courts, do not end up back on the streets.

After all, various formations have had a history of items going missing from their evidence cache held in the Exhibit Room.

The officer commanding San Ignacio Police told the media about the importance of the practice:

Superintendent Ralph Moody - OC, San Pedro Police
"At,this present moment we're doing drugs destruction with drugs that are found property on concluded cases of cannabis and cocaine."

Why is it important to do things like this, to destroy them?"

Superintendent Ralph Moody
"Well, at least, we're doing it like this, having the magistrate or the Clerk of Court, the JP and the forensic, and we destroy it by fire, due to the fact that it could be transparent and we can report that yes; we destroyed its and won't go back on the streets."

"What is the amount of drugs that has been destroyed here today?"

Superintendent Ralph Moody
"Well we have 92,476.9 grams of cannabis, 135.3 grams of crack cocaine, and 32.4 grams of cocaine."

The San Ignacio Police plans to destroy another quantity of evidence and found property in next coming weeks.
