7News spoke to Davis' sister, who told us that her family is devastated:

"I understand they said that he was riding on the road and he was hit at the back and he died on the spot."

"Riding what, a bicycle?"

Voice of Lavinia Davis
"Yes he was riding a bicycle"

Daniel Ortiz
"Can you tell us what the police are saying at this moment? Have they contacted you?"

Voice of Lavinia Davis
"Yes they are still investigating so we are not sure exactly what is going on. I think we're probably not going to get that until later on in the week so I don't want to say what I don't know."

Daniel Ortiz
"Can you tell us about the autopsy? I understand that was today."

Voice of Lavinia Davis
"Yes they finished the autopsy today but I can't really say much about it. All I can say is that he got hit hard from where I saw he was really broken up. One of his feet was turned and he had an injury to the head and a lot of body injuries."

Daniel Ortiz
"How is the family taking this? I'm sure you all are devastated."

Voice of Lavinia Davis
"Yes we are. It's one of our loved one and we loved him very much. He was very outgoing and a loving person. That's my brother and I love him a lot and I'll miss him a whole lot. The hardest part is when we get up in the morning because when I get up and go into the hall area he is usually right there so it's very hard for us but we're trying to get through but we're holding there."

"Can you tell us where he was heading?"

Voice of Lavinia Davis
"He had just dropped off his best friend at his house and he was coming back home. I think he was going to stop by my aunt before he got home but he never made it to that area any at all."

Police say that a urine sample was obtained from Bueckert, and a notice of intended prosecution was served on him.
