Police are getting training in a number of areas, from law to self-defence. The three courses are happening at the Police Academy in Belmopan. The first is for Adjudicators and Presenters where attorneys, magistrates and other legal experts train them in the conduct of police tribunals.
Then there's also a course for the CIB in investigative techniques, intelligence and evidence gathering and legal interpretations. And the Mobile Interdiction Team is learning about defense tactics.
It's all part of the Department's expanded Training Plan for 2013.
