Saldivar Resurfaces With Promised Trove Of Trashed Immigration Files
posted (October 15, 2013)
And in another story that surely would have been a headline on any other day, today Arthur Saldivar resurfaced. He hasn't been arrested and his home hasn't been searched but he did have - as promised - a big bag of immigration files with multiple green folders. They would appear to be compelling evidence of widespread corruption for the media to look over - but they were just flashed before the media - before the entire bag was taken to police. Saldivar spoke to the media in Independence Hall after the PUP Press conference had reportedly refused to take his matter on board. Here's what he told and flashed in front of us:..

Arthur Saldivar
"Ultimately this is simply to tie up all that has transpired and to basically get rid of the documents - put it to the right persons and ensure that the public has the ability to determine how it goes from here."

Jules Vasquez
"Why did you go this route, sir? Why didn't you share it with the media first and then with the authorities? We may never see these again."

Arthur Saldivar
"It's on Facebook, it's there."

Geovanni Brackett, reporter
"Many would say that it's because of your reports on the news that have led us to thus far where we are at. Why weren't you at the head table highlighted this in the press conference?"

Arthur Saldivar
"In terms of me speaking, I had a court matter today, so I was not in a position to do anything other than support the Party Leader. Originally it was intended for me to speak, but I'm here supporting."

Geovanni Brackett, reporter
"Should these go missing, do you have backup files?"

Arthur Saldivar
"All are backup and now I must leave. You all have backup files, it's on your cameras, Facebook, its within the public domain."

After that brief show and tell, commissioner of the Supreme Court Winston smiling and Saldivar walked the bag of files over to the queen streets police station. After a short wait they were sent up to the CIB office to make a police report.
