Belmopan Police are reporting tonight that they have almost 1 kilo of marijuana which they found in Teakettle Village.
Yesterday, officers from that police station went to the house of a well-known drug trafficker in the village. Nothing incriminating was found on the suspect's property, but nearby, they found 2 black plastic bags of cannabis to a total amount of 893 grams - or just under 2 pounds. Because they drugs couldn't be tied to the suspected drug trafficker, it was deposited as found property.
