Today, the Social Security Board held its 13th Scholarship Award Ceremony, where 55 deserving Belizeans from all across the country were recognized as recipients for this year.
These recipients were chosen from 311 applications, and today, we got a chance to greet one of them. He's a young man from the north who has fought hard to keep his dream of education going despite the challenges in his family life
Once the scholarship is given, the candidates must maintain certain standards in order to retain it. They must maintain a certainly high level of academic performance, and they must maintain exemplary behavior.
