The Felix brothers, Emory and Maurice are finally tasting freedom tonight after eight years on remand and three murder trials. Court reports say the nolle pros document was finally filed after their most recent hung jury in mid May. The brothers Maurice and Emory Felix, had been on remand for the murder of Mitchum Heredia since 2006 and had three trials which ended in hung juries.
They have maintained their innocence throughout and claimed that they were at home at the time of the murder in April 2006.
