Tonight, the local film industry is getting ready for the screening of telenovela filmed on San Pedro. The telenovela is called La Isla Bonita and it's been in production for several months now.
One of the things which makes it unique, is that though the director is an international film maker, the actors, and producers are Belizeans who are trying to grow the local film industry.
Today, we got a chance to catch up with a few of the cast and film crews for a discussion on the Telenovela, which hopes to capture the local Hispanic population. Here's how that discussion went:
The first screening of the La Isla Bonita Telenovela will be held tomorrow evening with a red carpet gala event. The producers are still looking for a distribution deal.
