The case of Titan Securities continues to be argued at courts high and low. Today, Bahamians Kelvin Leach and Rohn Knowles, were before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer for attempting to leave Belize without declaring $10,000 dollars in Belize currency. According to the FIU on September 12, both Leach and Knowles were found at the airport with $6,000 US dollars each.
This morning, the two Bahamians trial began in court #2 where FIU prosecutors intend to call 9 witnesses.
Today 2 of those witnesses were called - the first being Nigel Carter, from the Civil Aviation Department. HE testified that the Air Traffic control received communication from an aircraft which was making attempts to enter Belize at the PGIA but was refused because it did not meet all their requirements.
The second witness was Freddy Romero, A Tropic air Employee who said he made the call wanting to charter a ten thousand US dollar flight from Belize to the Caymans.
