Juggling With Machetes?
posted (December 30, 2014)
Two Argentine street art performers that have been traveling around the world for 2 years are now in Belize. But this is no traditional art show, instead of being confined to the Image Factory or the Bliss center, these performers did their thing out on the street - near the Cinderella Plaza. Apart from the unorthodox setting, the nature of the performance is …just outlandish. Here is what we encountered in the city this evening.

Courtney Weatherburne reporting
In this neon green crocs and summer finish 29 year old Martin Bosseo stands in the middle of heavy traffic performing what he calls street art.

Connecting with the wild and arrhythmic beat of the drum, he juggles 3 machetes. Many may experience piercing anxiety while watching but for Martin, this is an artistic contribution for people to enjoy.

Martin Bosseo, Chef
"Me, from I was 15 years old - and now I am 29 years old - I learned this art at a circus from young with my family and here we are traveling around the world doing art, art from the streets….street art for those who can't afford to pay to go see a circus or other shows that are too expensive."

Martin and drummer Caribe Jordello are traveling to Mexico next. They have been to 20 countries so far in South and Central America.
