And keeping it on legal news, President Justice Dennis Byron will be joined by a new sister judge at his next sitting. She's Madame Justice Maureen Rajnauth Lee, and she was selected by the eleven-member Regional Judicial and Legal Services Commission.
She is a Trinidadian who was serving as a Justice of Appeal in Trinidad and Tobago. Included on her long list of impressive resume is that she a member of the International Association of Women Judges. She was a member of the Steering Committee and now serves as Vice-President of the Caribbean Association of Women Judges. She is Vice-President of the Trinidad and Tobago.
She was selected from a list applicants coming from the Caribbean, North America and Eastern Europe.
