Right now at the Radisson, BEL is having its Annual General Meeting. The company will declare a dividend of 15 cents per share, which is up almost 90% from last year. But even more impressive is the 36.2 million dollars in net earnings for the year ended December 2014.

The Company is also reporting a 51% reduction in the frequency of blackouts since 2010.

All this is good, but lamentably, for a company that is wholly publicly owned, BEL does not open its Annual Meetings to the media as do the other utilities BTL and BWSL.
