Police say A 10-year-old boy was chopped and robbed yesterday afternoon in Corozal town. The 10 year old boy was with his sister in the Baiza Layout area when two masked men approached them demanding money. One of men was swinging a machete at him. The 10-year-old boy was hit on his left arm and to the back of his head. The men got away with $80.00 and the boy's white LG touch screen phone valued at $280 dollars. Police have since detained Belmopan resident Christian Martinez pending charges of Robbery and Harm. Police told us that they have retrieved the phone.
