Police Still Looking For Ruthless Home Invaders in Western Belize
posted (October 15, 2015)
Police have no leads in the terrifying early morning home invasion in western Belize. It happened on Tuesday morning after 7:00 in one of the villages outside Belmopan. As we told you, two armed and masked men emerged from the bushes and tied up the foreign pastor and his helper who were working in the yard. The men then took both of them to the main house where they tied up the pastor's wife and daughter and stole about $8,000 worth of items including cash. The men then took the family to the back house where they stole tools and raped the daughter -who is a minor. When we spoke to police this evening they told us that they detained one man yesterday but that they released him already. Police are still looking for other suspects. His stolen vehicle was recovered.
