“Booby” Says Supa G Sold Out Her Video! Supa Says “No Goh Soh”
posted (October 15, 2015)
Supa G - in 2003, he welcomed you to the party for the PUP, and in 2015, he's changed his song, saying the UDP will remain. It's a political remix of his very catchy "Party Insane" tune - which he ahs recorded for the UDP. But, now there's a video for the song - and it is a UDP coloured remix of his Party Insane Video. One of the producers of that video Barbara Norales called us today to distance herself form what she says is a despicable act:..

Barbara Norales, Manager - Party Insane Project
"My first thing was dismay. I almost yelled out. But then I know, I understand that as an artist Supa G is entitled to do what he wants and he is entitled to do what he wants with the Party Insane song because it is his song. But when it came to the video, it was a collaboration and I think that a decision to use parts of a video in a political thing, should have been referred. All of us who are involved should have made that. Even if we would have put that as a political video, I think that we should have contacted all the participants to let them and let them decide if they want to be a part of it. I think that our work and the thoughts and the creative mind has been exploited. I am disgusted with the whole thing."

Supa G, performer
"First of all I need to say that Barbara needs to apologized publicly, the same way she burn fire and blast me on Facebook, she needs to apologized publicly. Because I gave no permission to anyone to use the Party Insane video to any political thing. This controversy with the video I had nothing to do with that and as a matter of fact those people who put up that video, they need to take it down."

The video seems to have been remixed with footage of UDP rallies added in by some Orange Walk UDP outfit. Supa G says this will not affect his business relationship with the UDP.
