This morning, the GSU nabbed a 38 revolver when they searched Dennis TALBERT JR's home on Benbow Street in Belize City. The GSU says they had to kick in the door and when they got in, they saw TALBERT throwing an object resembling a firearm through a window.
They took TALBERT outside where they recovered the pistol with two live rounds of ammunition. 20 year old TALBERT who is a food vendor was charged for "Kept unlicensed firearm and Kept Unlicensed Ammunition without a gun license". Police say he is a member of the Supal Street Gang. He was taken to court and remanded to jail.
And this morning at 10:30 the GSU search an abandoned lot at # 11 Guadalupe Street in the Kings Park Area close to the residence of a well-known drug dealer. They found a white sack was found under some high grass. The sack was stuffed with three large parcels containing 3.3 pounds of weed suspected to be HYDRO grade. The GSU says the weed stash is the property of the same drug dealer living in the immediate area and another drug dealer who resides in the Belama Phase 4 Area.
