Tonight, not much more is known about the mystery plane, which was found yesterday morning in the Green Hills area west of Spanish Lookout. The Cessna 210 was found crashed and burned – and police believe that it was deliberately torched because it was used to transport drugs. Today we asked the Director of Civil Aviation about it – and he didn't have much to add:…

"My accident investigator Mr. Jean Young was on the scene almost immediately as we were informed of this and we found that there was a plane that had landed. And who ever landed it burnt it as a means of destroying evidence. We are presently working with the police department to give them all the technical information we can in terms of what type of aircraft, trying to trace the registration so we can provide that information and the police part of the procedure can go on."
